Together, WE GIVE!

WE GIVE is ECU Health’s team member giving initiative, a powerful way our ECU Health family supports programs and services that benefit our patients, fellow team members and neighbors across eastern North Carolina.

WE GIVE hero

Thanks to the incredible generosity of ECU Health team members, millions have been raised over the past decade, providing life-changing resources where they’re needed most.

More than 820 team members have received assistance through the Team Member Crisis Fund since 2015, totaling more than $1.26 million.

Nearly $5 million has been raised by team members in the last decade for WE GIVE. 100% of all donations go directly to the fund of the team members’ choice.

More than 9,000 patients have received assistance through the Patient Medical Needs Fund. $147,000 was distributed to support more than 2,450 patients from Oct. 2025 to Sept. 2026.

We are deeply grateful to every team member who chooses to give. As a token of our thanks, each year we’ll send a newly designed short-sleeve WE GIVE t-shirt to the homes of team members who make a recurring gift of at least $4 per pay period. Those who go above and beyond by joining WE GIVE 30 (donating 30 minutes of pay per pay period) will also receive a special custom long-sleeve shirt in addition to the short-sleeve design. Shirts are mailed as donations are received.

Together, we make a difference

WE GIVE allows team members the opportunity to work together to create and enhance a culture of generosity at ECU Health. As a result, the ECU Health family – nearly 14,000 strong – will be able to give back to the projects and services that help us continue to fulfill our mission.

Not a team member? You can still make a difference!

While WE GIVE is exclusive to ECU Health team members, we welcome support from our community and have a variety of causes to support.
