Neighbors in need. Heroes at hand.

Your support means residents of Edgecombe County and nearby communities have access to care they need, when and where it’s needed. With over 20 specialties, ECU Health Edgecombe Hospital is committed to meeting the community’s diverse health care needs, with services for women and children, patients fighting cancer, rehabilitation therapies and more.

Your Support Makes a Difference

Your caring nature and generosity have helped provide and underwrite many programs and services that directly impact the health of the residents of Edgecombe County and our surrounding communities.

Donations play a vital role in supporting our initiatives and funding important projects and services. Currently, we are focused on raising funds to acquire state-of-the-art equipment to optimize outcomes for patients with stroke, Parkinson’s and dementia diagnoses, as well as fundraising to increase our number of exam rooms to treat more patients and reduce wait times.

Thanks to our generous donors, we are able to improve health and wellness by addressing our hospital’s greatest needs. With donor support, we have provided special equipment for our neonatal unit, including eight new bassinets, a Cuddlecot, ultrasound machine and renovations to our nursery. We are also working to enhance our aquatic therapy area by improving pool accessibility and renovating our rehab facilities. These are just a few examples of how donations help meet the needs within our community.

Stronger communities start with better health. Donor dollars have provided more than 300 free health screenings in the last year, connecting community members to primary care providers. Donations also help fund programs like our summer feeding program, which served 565 meals this year. Your gift empowers people to live healthier, fuller lives.
